Matrix Cooling is pleased to announce our second tree-planting event, which took place on Sunday, October 24, 2021, in the Malaysian Nature Society’s Urban Community Forest, in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.
Due to Covid-19 constraints, we were only able to hold the event with a maximum attendance of 40 persons and strict adherence to SOP. Despite this, the morning went off without a hitch, with welcome speeches from MNS President Prof. Dr Ahmad Ismail and our Matrix Cooling Finance Manager, Ms. Shila Darus, who also lends a hand in these events. Nonetheless, we could not have done it without the help of Mr. Charles Penafort, Managing Director of Matrix Cooling, our own leader, and mentor.
From the total of 500 trees planted this year, our goal was to plant the remaining 370 trees in the second quarter. The team had planted 370 merbau forest trees by the end of the morning. Guys, you did a fantastic job.
We’d like to express our gratitude to everyone in our Matrix Cooling office who offered their Sunday mornings, as well as the SOLAR team’ workers who assisted us in this event; we couldn’t have done it without their great enthusiasm and support.
